My name is Sarah Emily Allen. I married the love of my life in August 2008, and we are expecting our first child in July 2010. We recently relocated from Portland, Oregon, to Portland, Maine. When I am not working, I love to curl up with a cup of tea and good book, work outside in the garden, or plan a good meal – wine included!

Nine years ago, starting with a part time job at a film lab, I began working in the photography and design industry. I have always loved art and design - I was even voted "most artistic" my senior year of high school – so working with photography and design has been a natural fit. From managing a professional film lab, to a stint as a wedding and portrait photographer, a full time position at a busy portrait studio where I did post-production, album design and marketing design, I finally ended up with my own small business where I specialize in designing albums for photography professionals.

I am now expanding my services to include graphic design. I can help you with logo design, marketing materials, brand expansion, and eventually web design. Having worked in the portrait and wedding industry for years I am sensitive to the unique qualities that set each business apart. I strive to become a virtual member of your company’s team by creating designs with a look and feel that you can call your own.
